Some Cunning Needed With Firefox

I don't really know what happened (possibly inadvertently deleted something or other) but I just started Firefox there and the address bar is blank. The pages load as per usual but whatever page I'm on isn't detailed in the address bar. Furthermore, if I type an address nothing happens, the page I'm on just refreshes.

So anyone have any idea as to what might be going on? Should I just uninstall re-install and hope things are back to normal?

Like the new look by the way, although my stylist informs me that it might be a bit last season.
