While John scored the goals i though George was outstanding against Bohs, UCD & Longford. John would hav not got the goals if it wasn't for George.

Agreed, George was outstanding in those three games, probably his best ever games for City. He could not have been far off recieving the accolade.
I think Flynny is fully deserving of the award though. I mean 8 goals in 7 games speaks for itself.

does anyone know if any english clubs are looking at him? Surely they are and i cant see anything but a bid being accepted for him by the Cork city board if it happens

Apparently Barry Fry wanted to take him back on loan for a few months cos he thought our season didnt start again til August(this was back in march) but he lost interest when he was put right.
It's all just a bunch of Tree-Hugging hippy crap.

    A bid?

    Noel Hunt went for 250,000!

Then City would be looken' for at least 400,000, and that if they wanted to sell him, which they don't!

The fact of the matter is he doesn't want to go to an English club below the 1st div. and they don't have the money anymore anyway!
The way things are going he'll make more money here than over there!

iin our favour at the moment is the lack of funds in english lower divisions, if it wasn't for that i'd say flynn would already be under scrutiny by some first division clubs

that and the fact that our season runs through the summer so we'll have a lot of games gone if anyone comes looking.

i'd expect JOF to move on by the start of next season, i just hope that city have him tied to a contract where the club make soem money on a good prospect for a change, have gotten screwed so often in the past with young players moving.

i'd love to see jof here for years , just don't think it'll happen

    Ask them

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
