There is a tv gantry being built on the other side but the perimeter wall is being done first and that will be finished sone. temporary gantries in place on the opposite side of the pitch for this match. 10 camera positions apparently

I heard it was €25 to see them play England in Cork!

Anyways, entrance fee was nothing to do with ATFC. FAI get all the money
    from that.

I was a guest at Northern Irelands recent under 21 game the week before last in Lurgan - admission there was just 5 pounds

As a comparision 15euro seems very very pricey

I pay £10 to watch Conference North football in the UK, £10/€15 for an Under 21 Competitve international seems pretty fair to me.

Wasn't havin a go at athlone there, I know exactly who sets the prices & where it goes. just feel that with a lower price there would have been an even bigger crowd, the FAI should be doing all they can to encourage people to support the underage teams, lower prices would be one way

If the FAI had bothered to advertise the game too it would have helped.

Not to mention changing it from 7:45 to 7:00 at the last minute.

I dont agree that lower prices would necessarily attract more people.
The people who are likely to go to watch an U21 international would likely have a keen interest football anyways and would go whether it was €10 / €15 regardless.

(Just a personal opinion, no factual or statistical basis).
