Delighted if this is true. As long as that injury isn't too bad and clears up by the second series of games I'd be happy enough. He has a bit of quality about him that we lacked in midfield.
We have a decent squad now imo. I know Blinks and Amond are bound to miss a few games between them but Doyle can easily fill in.
Better than this time last year, even allowing for Boco and Raf's departure imo. At least we have numbers now and a bit more competition for places.
If Almeida and Peers can strike up a good partnership again we should do well enough.

Don't know, but he has a clause in his contract that he can't be transferred to any club that Sean Connor is managing.
In fairness to Donninger if he has a really good season or so with us,
rather than Burton reserves, he has a much better chance of securing a move to a decent English side.
With the transfer deadline looming, is there any word on anymore trialists being signed or potential signings being done on time ?

I'm not in the know but heres the players signed so far according to website etc but please correct or add if anyone knows differently

thats 17 players signed and as Cook stated he wanted a squad of twenty he could take another three from trialists etc
seems abit crowded in midfield although Cook might plan to use Doyle more as a striker this season, either way definetly need another striker, defender and presume Ciaran Kelly will take the other goalkeeping place if he hasnt signed already?
