Our budget has not been improved yet, so no players can be signed until then.
We can't agree terms until the budget is approved by the FAI.

Well at least they probably have the competence to spell competent competently.but i still don't trust the board to do a compitent job.
you did, tobe surepedantic!!! Did I spell that ok for you teacher?
The budget is the budget and should be adhered to no matter what players are available or what players want in a new contract!
We cant be the only club who are being prudent and in the long term it will pay dividends.
We dont want to go back to the financial messing that occurred last season!
totally agree with u red away the financial messing that occured in the past wont and cant happen this season because as i said b4 the right man is in charge of finance lets hope the budget is okayed by the fai and we can get on and be a successful and well run club
fyi Parkhouse & Morrison signed yesterday along with Almedia & O'Grady. Cawley due to sign at the weekend. Back preseason training today...
Indeed I came up this morning from Dublin on business and drove past the Showgrounds only about an hour or so ago and there seemed to be alot of movement at the front offices. Good news.
Just hope they took it easy on the wages because some of the reported figures here were wild. I'd say that may well be our squad for the upcoming season if we manage to hold on to the rest of our players.
The long-running Stephen Parkhouse saga finally came to an end on Tuesday night when the striker left Finn Harps for Sligo Rovers.
Harps manager Paul Hegarty said yesterday that he had agreed terms with the 26-year-old last month, before a forced reduction in the Ballybofey club's budget made the deal impossible.
Consequently, former Glentoran frontman Parkhouse, who had also been interesting Coleraine of late, put pen to a deal at the Showgrounds and will now be involved in both the Setanta Sports Cup and the newly-formed Europa League (formerly Uefa Cup) next season, as well as remaining in the Premier Division.
"It's disappointing to lose a player like Stephen," Hegarty said. "A few weeks ago we had agreed a deal but we had to retract that offer because of the reduced budget. I feel he wanted to stay, as after all he had agreed terms, but that's the lie of the land at the minute here and we have to accept that and get on with it."
Funny that he had agreed to stay with Harps....
Cookie only wanted 75% of him while Harps were prepared to sign the 100%.
Great news if those 3 lads have arrived
Can't see too many signings after this, I assume we have to get another goalkeeper?Hope we can hang on to the rest of the squad
Shaping up well , morrison will be competition for Doherty on the left , upfront we will be choosing from Boco, Raf and Parkhouse with either raf or boco going to the right of midfield , expect we will need a new right back assuming Seamie goes.
