Transfer Rumours/ Suggestions.
We have had 1900 posts since Sligoman opened this thread in November 2007. Is there any sad person out there that would calculate the number of players that were rumoured to be coming to the BOR, probably enough to field several teams and most of these never came. Likewise if we go from what we have seen here over the last few weeks we will be lucky to have one first team player left, now that Turner seems to be gone. Having said that I would not have it any other way, I get a great buzz when I read here that we are about to sign some top class player, Sligo Rovers are built on dreams so keep dreaming up some big name signings. I am furious that Real Madrid have called back the central defender that they gave us on loan at the beginning of the season, shame for a big club like that to do that to us.

Heard today that Boco has left the club, as in got on a plane and gone. I know he would be headin home to play in the African Nations Cup in January but heard its a one way ticket. Anyone hear anything?

I am not too surprised that he wants to leave.. I think I read somewhere that he wants to return to the warmer clims as the cold weather doesnt seem to agree with him?

I said seems to be gone, only saying what the Morning Star said on the 21/11/09 "Turner is believed to have signed for Sligo on standard player contract which the FAI are no longer accepting"
If you say he is going to be with us next year I am very happy but remember this is the same FAI who made a laughing stock out of us today when the asked for Ireland to be but in as the 33 team in the draw for the World Cup, so anything is possible with those b......s
