1 Million is a lot of money with the economy like it is, i think the club needs to act now for the summer to try an dbring in a glamour friendly against somebody. Something that can make up some dosh. Sending out the begging bowl is a non runner there is a two week break in the summer which coincides witha 5 week period where we only have 1 home game. So the club needs to be ready and have something in place for this period !
We still haven't gotten our freindly against Celtic so, we'll have to wait and see.

Jeez Thats from 14 years ago, Celtic said ownership of the club changed and it was the old board that made that promise of a friendly not the new one. So i think we can forget about that now.
Might be a bit unrealistic but would it be possible to get a summer freindly against Everton ? As I said though, might be a bit unrealistic.

No doubt. My three year old niece would be better. I'll never forget his shocking display against Bohs last year at Dalymount....embarrassing. Then again he shouldn't even have been on the pitch as Brush wasn't injured at the time.

Gino O' Boyle and Brian McMoroow are playing for local clubs, and i'm not sure if Ross McLoughlin is still an A-Team player, as for Oisin Mannion and Gary Melly I both of them ar ein the 'A' Team, Oisin Mannion definetly is anyways.
