so much talent hope he cops himself on..he could be a star if he realises its a team game and flicks don't always work
For fcuk sake I can't believe people are still critisising Georgie. He has arguably been our best player this season. Some people are never happy.

I dunno about that Colm. You'll find a lot of people will disagree with you on that one.Personnally I think he started brilliantly but he was ABYSMAL in the last 3 games

ABYSMAL is a bit harsh there trax.....he hasnt been brilliant by any standards over the last 3 games but who has...the last 3 games havent exactly seen the best performances by many city players....I'm happy enough with georges' start to the season and he is a match winner....in the league this year...3 great games (UCD, Bohs, Lonford) 1 Solid game (Rovers) 1 average (Waterford - good first half - poor second) and 1 poor game -Derry (Devine was the only player to get any credit for that performance)...

some people just love giving players a hard time....as in hedderman..just joined and people are queuing up to hang him already....christ the season is only 7 games old and some individuals want to rip most of the team out of the club already...
and some individuals can only ever see the negatives and never the positives..

some players have been off form ....i.e. midfielders ..and thats where we need strengthening...I'd say Dolan knows that and will sort it as soon as the right players become available..Hopefully

I think when the midfield struggles then the forwards feel the brunt of that because they have more work to do trying to create goals....something to think about.....

What gets me about George is that he's obviously very talented but he struts around sometimes like he's too big for this league or summat.I just dont get him,I agree he was 1st class against Bohs but against Queenstown ha was actin the bolix for the whole game. I just wish he would play to his potential.

Georgie is well capable of getting stuck in and winning ball, we've all seen him do that, the problem (as far as i see it) is that he goes for the tricks from the outset, and looks to beat the extra player before the game is safe.

the tricks are a joy to behold, but only do it on every possession when we're two or three up, until then keep it simple and get stuck in.

he bitches a bit too, but i think most of that is just that he hates losing, which is fine by me.
