    Synchronised posts question

Is it possible that when two replies from 2 different posters to the same thread, attempt to arrive at (exactly) the same time to the Foot.ie server, one of the replies can get bumped off to a Foot.ie black hole?

Or is it more likely that it's just my imagination that this has happened?

It's very unlikely. When did this happen?

I was replying to this page of the thread
    http://foot.ie/showthread.php?t=76119&page=2
    post 39
I believe this is the sequence

After I hit the reply button for my message just written, the page refreshed as usual and all I saw was the brand new reply from GSpain, post 38.
    My reply wasn't there.
So after a suitable check, refreshing pages to make sure, I quoted a poster and reposted my reply and it showed as 39

I discount that my nmodem had a short disconnection because the page refreshed,
It was a "post quick reply" the only other possibility was "Go Advanced"
and I didn't click "Go advanced"

Just curious much more than anything else.

No idea tbh. I was working on the server earlier for a short while, could have been that.
