unfortunate 5-4 loss on penalties - 1-1 aet

Disappointing but important to ebar in mind last year's victory was the first in 13 years. It's not easy.

Who did we lose too, and how long has the 1st round being a knock out round?

We lost to UUJ. I'm not sure about the format but this was the second round, we had a bye in the first round.

Jordanstown got the better of UCD in a dramatic Collingwood Cup penalty shootout after a pulsating tie finished 1-1 after extra time.

Freshman Dave McMillen had UCD ahead on the hour with a long-range volley.

Four minutes from the end of normal time Mark Surgenor rounded goalkeeper Billy Brennan and slid the equaliser home.

Extra time had plenty of excitement but no scores. Jason Mooney then pushed away James O'Sullivan's spot-kick and Jordanstown seized the chance to take a 5-4 win and with it a place in the semi-finals.

We would have gotten into the semis by winning one game?

How small is this season's competition?

UUJ won the cup final 2-1, some sort of consolation I suppose. What kind of squad did we have at this?
