I'd say 10/11 times. To put him in ahead of Robinson's an insult imop.
False hope is worse than no hope. Ask Sligo.

Different positions. Gamble is most consistent midfielder in the league over the last 3 seasons let alone this season. You can say its a token gesture to give Gamble 2 International caps but Robinson doesn't have any...

How is he ahead of Robinson? They play different positions.

Which 2 central midfielders would you rate ahead of him?

No but he does have four times as many medals as Gamble. Will be at least double by the end of the season.

    Anyway Brian Shelley won it.
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week

Greg O Halloran has more medals than Joe too......and they even play in the same position.

Does that make Greg a better player

I thought we were discussing the place in the team of the year rather than the winner of player of the year

Didnt he spend a lot of it coming off the bench? Or am I thinking of the wrong person?

Fahey has been right mid for most of the season and was picked RM in the team of the year.

Fahey was put out on the wing for most of the season, Robinson's much the better player(he's not only in the team to take the set pieces)

I thought you were talking about Gamble.

They're both quality imo but Id have Robinson ahead of Fahey as a winger

Was he not the sort of 'supersub' at one stage. Kept coming on and scoring late...or am I imagining things again

    Of course
He has consistently outshone more senior Internationals in our team alone this season, never mind the lesser mortals in other sides.

i'd give it to brian shelley. seamie is better than powell by a f**kin mile and sammon only scored 6 goals, not exactly prolific but playing in dublin prob makes the difference.
