Joey is absolute quality. Best midfielder in the league in my (hopefully not too) biased opinion

Why does playing for a lowly team mean a player should be considered for a team of the season? Conor had a good season no matter who he played for.

Bit shocked that no Dundalk player made the team though.

Gutted that Robbie didnt make it in too. Genuinely one of the nicest people in football who played his guts out for us week in week out even when he was carrying injuries.

Yup and deservedly so. He got the Supporters Club Player of the Year. Aaron Mooney got club player of the year and Paul Whelan got Young Player of the Year for the 2nd season in a row.

PM it to me so can slap your wrists for you!

Just coz he didnt do it for you doesnt mean he is bad. He seems to be one of these players that Mick Cooke can manage to get the best out of.

see what you're saying about how it could happen that shane robinson could be nominated for the player but not a member of the team of the year but in all fairness, he should be in the team too. Himself and Shellyer are one and two this season across the entire league.

Every player votes for their PLayer of the Year (and Young player of the year from a list given to them from the PFAI) and they also get to nominate players for their own position (only) on the team of the year. It could happen that Robinson got a lot of votes from Strikers or Defenders.

BTW Coleman isn't nearly as good as the three young players already nominated. How many times did Powell keep him out of representative squads?

Wouldn't have too many friends in opposition teams I'd imagine.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

Don't see how thats relevant seeing as they don't play in the same position.
