    Ireland lose Four Nations opener

Mark McNulty was in goals and John Andrews centre half for the Irish eircom league U-21 side that was beaten 4-0 by the english side tonight. Bit of a baptismal of fire for the boys by the sound of it.

the english team were non-leaguers. throws a bit of a dampener on my belief that we have a higher standard than division three across the irish sea.

although i guess with our league going on there weren't many first team players on the irish side.

hopefully we'll beat the welsh if nothing else, memories of cymbran town

you have to remember that the age differance could come into it, all confrance players as far as i know they had an ex england international on goal cant remember his name and the confrance wouldnt nessesarly be better than el but this our 21`s and under so experiance played a factor i`d say
i`m back and i didnt bring no dame ball with me all i brought was a big fat can of whooop ass Austin 3:16
