Great display, and more importantly, result for the Hornets last night, against a fashionable Swansea who were unbeaten in 16 games.................sadly the joy was tempered by that unhelpful lot in Sheffield not putting the sword to the Tykes

Wednesday on a downward spiral and Mick's Wolves also starting to wobble. I can see it all going:

I heard the Wolves fans were abusive after their latest defeat. Bloody hell - top of the league and still moaning. I do hope Wolves and Reading go up to the PL because of the Irish connection. Forest-Derby this weekend. Was contemplating about going but for 30quid and no Irish players on show (unless they play Moloney) it doesn't seem good value. Man City-Boro over a week ago cost us 19 quid.....

Watford win and Wednesday score 4 away from home. What's that I see ? No it can't be!

Wolves lose again. Lucky for Mick their nearest challengers slipped up as well.

Both Watford and Wednesday lose but at least the Irish scored against the latter.

Mick's Wolves also win at last.

The top of the Championship is really strange. If one of the top 3 drops a point, so it appears do the other 2. If one wins, so do the other 2. If one loses etc etc. Only wins for Wolves and Reading lately were against Wednesday, who incidentally conceded yet another 90th minute equaliser, this time against Preston

Easy 3 points for the Hornets this weekend who are on a roll with another 3 last night?

5 wins in 6 games, and the form is really good......a fair result last night would have (and should have) been 4-1, or 5-1

I think we will win saturday but it will be close.......3-0 or 3-1

Similar to the question about the four (or five; can't remember) teams who start and end with the same letter. Charlton Athletic is the answer to your question.

Good news at Watford......Graham Taylor (recently joined Board of Directors) has persuaded the rest the board to sanction a reduction of between 16 and 20% on next season's Season Tickets!!.....My own (right on half way line) will now only be £299 ( £13 per game)

    Watford 2-2 Sheff Wed

Francis Jeffers scored a last-minute penalty to earn Sheffield Wednesday a share of the points with Watford.

A Marcus Tudgay header gave Wednesday the lead but the hosts drew level just before half-time when Mark Beevers sliced the ball into his own net.

Watford went ahead when Jobi McAnuff headed in at the far post from Don Cowie's deep cross.

But in injury time, Jon Harley fouled Jermaine Johnson in the box and Jeffers stepped up to smash home the penalty.

Wednesday usually concede in injury time not score

Charlton Athletic, York City, Aston Villa, Liverpool and one other I think.

York City are now a non-league team. Northampton Town is the other one.

Bit worried abpout Reading's form at the moment. Other than an away win at Wednesday, they have really been struggling. We might not see Messrs Doyle et alia back in the Premiership.
