Right lads i think its about time for some predictions

I'm gonna go with a Ramblers 2-0 win with goals from Cummins and Big Kev.

Heres hoping we do win as while i was scanning through the paper yesterday tucked away in the corner i saw a column about kilkenny seeking special permission to sign a keeper as now they have no keeper. Lets face it Harps are probably gonna win 3 or 4-0 with or without a keeper of note so really we can't expect Kilkenny to do us any favours.

I honestly think we'll win this one.
Unless players take massive wage cuts theres gonna be a mass exodus from
Lissywollen at the end of the season so all players who underperformed during
the year will put in the performance of their lives to get noticed and get a
contract somewhere else for next season.

We have concided 17 goals in 35 games. None of them to Athlone after 3 meetings already and you think you will put 3 past us on Saturday because underperforming players for the season think one good game will save them!!!

Do you honestly think Ramblers players will not put on the performance of their lives in the biggest game in the clubs history?????????

I hate statistics. I always go for the negative side of the coin so the fact that Athlone haven't scored in 3 games this season against the Rams tells me that they are due a goal soon.

Other people will see the other side of the coin though and suggest that they are unlikely to score seeing as they haven't managed it all season. It's the glass half enpty/half full scenario

It's going to be close anyway I think.

It's going to be close anyway I think.

Think we might just scrape it by a goal but with them also scoring so 2-1 3-2 maybe 4-3...naw count the last one out

Let's face it, this club NEVER does things the easy way, as we saw on Sunday.

I'll go for 2-1 to us. Early free kick from Carey (he's due one), then 80 minutes of nail-biting followed by a flukey equaliser. Just when we think it's out of our grasp, Dav will pop up for a special in injury time.

If I'm right, I'll happily waddle round the edge of the pitch on my knees with my kecks round my ankles and a traffic cone on my head...

We have to win its simple as that a play off is no longer thinkable,id say we wont have it all our own way but thats where barrett and muckie come in we need those two on top right to the end,on that id say prob 2-0 rams and huge party sunday at clubhouse!!
