So we were fined for flares against Drogs and they weren't fined for flares in the same gameCan't believe they're still fining clubs for this.
This week's victims are named publicly here.
So we were fined for flares against Drogs and they weren't fined for flares in the same gameCan't believe they're still fining clubs for this.
"Dayne Ormonde (Waterford United) suspended with immediate effect until 1st October 2008 and fined €100 as a result of an incident in the match v Cobh Ramblers (14.10.07)."
??
I’m not pedantic...I’m merely overly concerned with minute details.
this is the first list i have seen with no fines for sligo rovers or their players. they must know we have no money left.
both sligo and cork fans set off flares last saturday night at the game - morons - they call themselves real fans - then pay 15 euro in and then get the club hit with fines of over 100 euro up to 500 euro.
i dont have a problem with flares but the fai obviously do - more staunton payoff money - there is an automatic life ban for the individual and 1000 euro fine for the club from next year for shouting at a match.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
It seems you got value for money. Cork and Shels were fined €100 for letting off a flare but Rovers got fined €200 for letting off loads of them.
This encourages fans to let off more!
How would the FAI react to this?!?! (It's better not to have the sound on for this! I think it's the Czech version of ZZ Top!)

I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"
Nice right up until the point they were ****ed on the pitch!
Damien Richardson (Manager, CorkCity) suspended for TWO (2) competitive matches as and from Monday, 29th October, fined €1,000 and severely warned as to his future conduct as a result of being removed from the technical area by the referee v Bray Wanderers (12.10.07). For this two match suspension, Mr Richardson is to remain at least 50 metres away from the dressing room, technical area and pitch for at least two hours before the matches as well as during the matches and for one hour after the matches.
So has Rico served this yet or is he missing the Cup final?
All you zombies tweet tweet tweet.
He was in the stands for our game last Saturday so that's one of them anyway.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
Have Derry City been fined for the league cup final pitch invasion yet?
Who Cares?!
