    Ronaldinho - a spent force?

    Discuss

The chap scored twice last night. But I couldn't get over how lethargic, slow, overweight and out of breath he looked. I think he has turned into a modern day Micky Quinn (ex. Newcastle and Coventry City striker) - capable of flashes of brillance but his weight is holding him back (in many ways).

Who's going to buy him when Barcelona try to offload him in January?

It's impossible for a player to maintain the level he has reached over the last few years. It's only natural that he is going to dip below the bar he has set for himself.

He looks as if he is carrying a few extra pounds which doesn't help but certainly wouldn't be enough to say he's a spent force. Still a class act.

just look at the free kick from last night once more, and thats why he's in the barca team, and why he would get into any team worldwide. he's still class! he was one of their top scorers last year, if not thee top scorer, still he got stick from all over!

He's much more of a playmaker now than he was 2 years ago. He rarely takes on players now and his game is all about passing and quick thinking.

That is the first and only time I think Ronaldinho will ever be compared with Micky Quinn
