I remember reading on foot.ie that Rovers were planning to move in to Tallaght stadium even though some part of the stadium design was still being contested by Thomas Davis.
Or was it just that they planned to start building the part of the stadium which wasnt contested by the GAA?
Either way, what, if any, progress has been made on the issue?
And, as an aside, why are there no threads in here? There are plenty of fans on the site.
They have their own forum (from which I'm banned). Similar to the other big Dublin clubs, and Shels. A few Rovers fans have been banned here recently too, and others have stopped posting. Not all of them though.
The situation at present is that the judge is deliberating on presentations by both Thomas Davis and South Dublin County Council on whether proper procedure was followed when SDCC agreed that the Stadium would be football only.
Rovers had floated the idea of moving in with temporary stands but apparently SDCC decided that that could be construed as trying to influence the judgement unduely so they left it.

This is more than likely not happening as we have proposed it too the SDCC and TD but nothing has come from it.
There are now rumours we are in talks with the IRFU about using Donnybrook as there new stand will be built before March.
Nothing definite on any of these.
