Looking to buy Sega Mega Drive and/or games

Myself and the brother dug out his old Mega Drive over the weekend. Anybody here have one that they fancy selling. Or anybody with games that they wanna off-load? A couple of joypads wouldn't go amiss either.

Pirates Gold, Toe Jam and Earl 2, Shining in the Darkness, Landstalker, Street Racer, Super Monaco GP all come to mind as games I'd be interested in buying and there's probably loads more too!

Cool Nah .... floged it ages ago !!

The best game ever was The Three Lost Vikings .... they are the business. That and Desert Strike.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Surely 'Sensible Soccer' was the best? The most playable off all football games.

It was only good on the Amiga, the console versions were shít.

I liked Streets of Rage 3, it was way beyond it's time. AND you could unlock a bouncing kangeroo as a playable character!
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

    Unhappy

Every time somebody adds to this thread I get my e-mail notification and think 'Yes, finally I've found my seller!' only to be bitterly disappointed... deep sigh

I used to love Street Fighter 2 and Streets of Rage, they were class. I also remember I used to like the Italia 90 game, it was the most simplistic crappy football game ever but I liked it!

bit of advice if u are new to ebay

everyone has a feedback record attached to their username, so only buy from people who have very good feedback. dont buy from newbies

always ask the seller the postage cost before bidding (its not that hard for them to find out) , cos theres always a chance they might charge more than u wud be willin to pay

look carefully at how they want u to pay in the advert, cos i almost bought a digital camera from the us before but it was gonna cost me $10 to send him the money with western union. luckily, the seller was sound and let me cancel the bid, even though i won it

but as long as yur careful, ebay is great

1 last ting. place yur bid as late as u can, so that u dont push the price up. but give yurself time to bid again if u really want the item. good luck with it

How did I forget the Sonic games, excellent. Micro Machines was cool especially the way you could build your own racing track. I remember that EA sports double header aswell with the ice hockey and John Madden American football.

EA Hockey was great! - I remember the first version I ever played. The hockey itself was only ok, but the fights you got into in the game were excellent.

PS: Sensible was sh*t on consoles - definitely was much better on the Atari.

Wouldn't agree with that at all! The fights got tedious (especially in one player) once you realised that all you had to do was punch opponent, pull back, watch opponents punch sail futily into clear air, move in, punch opponent again and repeat process ad infinitum... The hockey is what made the game the legend that it is...
