Praise from an all time great.


England legend Tom Finney believes Blackburn Rovers winger Damien Duff can become an all-time great.

Duff produced some impressive performances for the Republic of Ireland in the last World Cup and is being linked with moves to Premiership champions Manchester United and also Liverpool.

Finney told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "Damien Duff is one of the most promising of the younger element and he has the potential to become one of the all-time greats.

"He's already shown that ability with Ireland and when you play in a World Cup, you can't do it on any bigger stage than that."
