Can any tell me what the best Mp3 playing/cd ripping software is?

So many different programs out there hard to know which one to download

I use Musicmatch for ripping and Winamp for playing.

I like Winamp but make sure you get an older version.

As far as I know the latest ones contain Spyware. I use Winamp 2.61 and it does everything that you'll need it to.

I'm running Winamp v3 and it doesn't have spyware U4L. The only problem I've had with it is that the multimedia keys on my keyboard lost their mappings, but I got them back with a v2 compatibility layer.

I just downloaded two new skins for v3 by the way, and I'm positively awestruck with one of them. MMD3. Wow.
