    Athlone Town 2 - 0 Bray Wanderers

Thoroughly deserved victory. Micky McCann with a brace in the 2nd and 95th minute. Bray had only half chances. More later! woohoo!

    Thumbs up Excellent Result

This was an excellent result with a lot of control and enterprise.

Great performances from everyone. Des Hope was outstanding as a replacement for Shane Jackson, he should surely retain his place now.

Our suspected goalscoring problems seems to be sorting itself out with Andy Mullin and McCann forming an excellent striking duo.

Just one little issue-Moran needs to take more control of his penalty area and form a greater presence, he ialso needs to be more confident on the high ball.

I hope we can keep the momentem going against a very beatable Limerick side next Thursday.

    Unhappy Small Crowd

By the way, where was everybody on Saturday night?????? and what is the story on Saturday matches?

We need to keep these matches for Friday nights, that's already proven in the past.

    Saturday Nights

The one against Cobh was at their request, and the Bray game was on Saturday because we both had midweek games in the LC, so they just put it back a day for a little more rest.
