Looks like there is loadsa space between seats and it looks like a cantelever stand so no obstructions to the views. Will the lights be on top of the stand or are yere lights in the corners? (havent been to Colmans in ages!)

Spoke to someone in the know. There are now 500 or so seats installed and another 200 or so going in by early next week. Builder is supposed to be gettin' his last consigment of materials on Tuesday so its down to him to pull his finger out, get the last bit of stuff in and then hopefully the stand should be ready for use.

Apparently they won't be allowed to open the whole thing up for the first match anyway, some safety requirement or other. I remember something similar happened with Wembley eariler this year (coz like St. Colmans is comparable!!!!)

Don't think there's any plans for segregation so I guess ye can help yourselves. Just about everyone (except the terrace die-hards) will want to be in there so ye'll have to get in early.

Its all shiny and new so please treat it nice for us!!

latest pic i got 4 sections in,
suppose to be 600 from what ive heard in for the dundalk game, all comin together nicely now, id say it will be finnished for the mons game in three weeks, theyll have 300 odd more seats to install and seal the whole thing off, the ends and the gap between the wall and stand on the road side is suppose to be filled in, and hey presto we have something to destroy
