I thought I was going to have heart failure watching the 2nd half last night. One of the most nerve racking games I ever watched. Scholes is some legend. I'm delighted for him after him missing the 99 final. He fully deserves to be playing this Final. Roll on May 21st.

I hope he gets injured and misses it, but then again I'm a ****

Man United only received 17,000 applications for final tickets and Liverpool havent received many more. Unsure about Chelsea but their travelling support is generally far less anyway.

Most I know arent travelling because they know whats in store.

Note: Applications for tickets had to be submitted before the semi-final due to visa restrictions.
The whining we're going to hear from England (and here) in the next few days is going to be entertaining. That fat beardy bloke who writes for the Times was complaining the other day that the Metro is jammed during rush hour and that the signs are in Cyrillic!

If its a Man United - Liverpool final I can only imagine the kind of wankfest the Irish media are going to whip themselves into

It will be matched by the cries of woe from the English media afterwards when all English clubs are banned from Europe indefinitely, following the almost guaranteed bloodbath that will ensue outside the Moscow Stadium!

Sums up what I was trying to say perfectly. Whether its Mancs V Liverpool or Chelsea its irrelevant. There will be killings. One guy said to me that he has a horrible feeling that we could be talking about deaths on the morning after the game instead of the game itself.

Disappointed that there will be no non-English representation in the final. Other than that, I though Man Utd marginally deserved it over two legs. Messi was arguably man of the match in both, though.

As long as nothing happens in the stadium, UEFA won't care, and will not accept responsibility, therefore not hand out any punishments.

    I'd say Wes Brown was.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

messi some player alright .. but thought brown / ferdninand could have been man of match last night also.. carlos tevez would walk it on work rate the man must run on duracell batteries its a pity ronaldo would not even attempt to do half as much work

Not sure what the best thread for this is but given that Drogba and Benitez have been in a war of words over the former's diving (great call by Benitez in my opinion, Drogba's cheating is a blight on today's game) did anyone notice the slowmo replays of Vidic's injury on Saturday? Drogba was in the process of throwing himself to the ground but upon realising Vidic was actually badly hurt he stopped half way through his dive. It'd have been funny if he wasn't such a cheating pr1ck. Wonderful player at his best but a total wnaker. If he leaves English football I won't miss him in the slightest.

Drogba said he's lost all respect he ever had for Benitez. Be honest how many of us never respected Drogba????? never mind used to respect him. He's always been a cheat and always will.

great celebration by Drogba there in front of Benitez haha.

Wish Liverpool would realise they are allowed to attack now and again.

This may be a horrible thing to say, but I'd like to see Drogba get either a kick or a brick in the face.

Boring enough game. The offside goal will have livened it up hopefully.

    EDIT: It has, penalty
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
