Lads anyone else get this message any time they go onto youtube?:

"Hi you either have javascript turned off or an old version of Adobe's flash player"(i think it said).

It won't let me view any video then!
Any ideas how to fixe this,incredibly annoying,problem!?

Have you upgraded the flash player, like it suggests? It should be linked from there.

I went through the steps alright but no luck.

I'll give it another try and see what happens..

Just tried it again-nothing.

Where is javascript?what is it even?
Don't see how out of nowhere all of a sudden i could need an update or i have java turned off?

Did you upgade your browser, or install some other plugin?

It asked did i want to upgrade to the latest flash player.

But then my doing that i think i have just installed some other plugin!

Go to tools, internet options, advanced then scroll down to java and check if the box is ticked.

Flash doesn't use Java. Javascript is a completely different thing.

Conor, browsers generally don't stop working for no reason, something must have triggered it. Try and think back to what that was.

No i don't have them disabled.
In fact i can't use any of the functions,like putting a sentence in Bold etc.
Don't know what the story is.

Thats probably a javascript problem. Can you view other javascripts sites? (www.nfl.com www.youtube.com)

I had problems with Youtube last week and it just came back all of a sudden.
At least i now know there's something definitely wrong with my PC-Cheers.
