    TV3 Announce Sacking

Not sure cos I was half asleep at the time, but I could have sworn
I heard someone in the TV3 studio cheer when they announced
    Stans sacking on Sports Tonight.

Anyone else hear it, or was it just a little voice in my head

Yup TV3 broke it on Sports Tonight. He said that it was now confirmed and a press conference would bee happening soon. RTE were about an hour behind. Pity TV3 didn't make any big fdeal out of it or get reaction; they just said "Okay David thanks for that" to David Kelly their journo at the mysterious Dublin hotel, and then started talking about regional hurling or something like that!

Must say the RTE website is great for the coverage of this whole story, it has it all on its website on audio video.

RTE made it official at 11.30. Sports tonight was only starting about then.

I find it very easy to use and they got most of the coverage up on the whole Staunton affair pretty quickly and its a good source of info in the Audio/Video area.

On this story it has been topclass in my view. No other website can touch it on this story

Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

RTE Website's match reports from the Eircom League of Ireland are usually fine.
