I remember a fella called Jim Moore brought a group of players from a London soccer academy to Westmeath to play for Mullingar Town, where his brother is chairman.

The first crop have all gone I think, but there is a new group now. They are still playing in the Under-21 League. Mullingar Athletic are joining the U-21 League this season as well.

MTFC were definitely in last season's u-21 league, the also have a team in the Midlands intermediate division, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah they do have a team in the LFL Intermediate League. They have a team in the LSL somewhere as well don't they. Same as Athletic, but they are getting relegated very soon!
