Yeah .... me thinks it is a new page and link to it and resize it in the <img> tag. You cant do anythnig to ... well anything from the anchor tag except tell it where to open i.e. target="new" but that is about it for images. Tis all in the <img> !!
Can anyone give me a little helping hand with a HTML problem Im having (Remember Im just a law student waster so my knowledge of computers doesnt extend very far). It's just a little class website thing Im throwing together.
The main image here. I have it set to show a larger version of the image when you click on it but the version it shows is too large. Is there any thing I can put into the <a> tag that would tell the browser what size and width to make the image or do I have to make a new HTML page and set the size of the photo using <img>?
I hope ye get what Im trying to ask, did do a great job of explaining myself.
Any help greatfully accepted. Cheers

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
No, because you're linking directly to the image, which obviously has no HTML around it. Resizing an image as a "thumb" using the IMG tag is a bad practice though, it forces people to download the large image even though they might not want to. You should really be using two separate images; I've resized it to small and medium for you here:

Don't mind Scooty by the way, there's very little reason not to use frames on those webpages. You're hardly looking for top ranking on Google and I doubt you're looking to win any awards either. Keep at it.
So who's yerone in the picture anyway, he said innocently.

Would you be complaining if we had a few more pretty girls around here? Far as I can see, most of the ones we have have paired off with other Foot.ie members. We need fresh supplies.Originally posted by pete

Bring it to the knoll on friday night!
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
