Is he Cup tied? I thought he just couldn't play against Derry but hadn't lost his eligibility otherwise.
Completely forgot that Hynes is cup-tied.4-4-1-1 is almost certain to be used, unless Moran gets a start.

Oh yeah, he isn't. That's what the media reports were saying before the QF but he was on the bench in Dundalk.
Ronan Finn
Interesting links between the teams. Seamus Kelly, Robbie Martin and Paddy Sullivan began their senior careers with UCD, Dessie Baker was on loan to UCD. Ronan Finn's father is from Longford![]()
I think Finn's Dad played for Longford.

Cork without Dan Murray await the winners in the final then.
Expect ccounts of 25,000 Corkonians and minus 10 UCD fans if we make the final.
And accusations from Peadar that there were hundreds of us ****ing against his car.
Shane McFaul's last up tomorrow - some good answers!
Does he look like Ronan Finn, are we better than Notts County, who keeps trying to get him fined in training?!
Alan McNally.
Can't find the quote from pineapple but when he said that it's too passive to play 4-4-1-1 against Longford that's wrong (although I agreed at the time).
It all depends on how you play, not what formation you play. For example Man City have played attacking, attractive football this season with the same formation. Once Pete tells the players to go for them it doesn't matter what formation we play.
In a 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 if you're on top of the opponents it nearly turns into a 4-3-3 with the wingers on top of the fullbacks.

best interview yet
I think Fran Moran is set to start...
Paul Byrne in the squad
