Well never Assume it makes an ass of U and me. If they continue to be as poor in front of goal next season as they were in the last 7-8 games of this season then that would follow on logically. Pete Mahon told me, at the Under 21 game yesterday, he had never experienced losing 5 games on a trot with a team at any time in his career before this season. And that includes Managing a wholly amateur St. Francis side in the First Division a decade or so ago.

I fail to see how thinking we're as good as safe with seven games left, watching the team go on the worst run in the division and still stay up is arrogant. It may be over-optimistic (although even that is dubious, who expects their team to pick up 2 points in games which they got 10 the first time around?). If anyone is arrogant it's fans of a promoted team who want their manager sacked because they only finished 8th.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
