    New stadiums next season?

Are there likely to be any new stadiums in the Eircom League next season? What is the latest on UCD's move? What about the new lower division they were talking about - any new clubs and grounds in that? Thanks in advance.

I think UCD should be in the Belfield Bowl for next season.

New stands being built in Waterford, Cobh, Wexford, Pats (I think).
Cobh stand should be finished for this season.

The A leageu will replace the U21 league for next season. Not sure what non current EL clubs will be taking part in it.
    I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?

I think the seated section (near the dart line) of the Carlisle will be covered at some stage next season.

    For the moment anyway.

There's an ambitious multi-phase plan to expand it. I doubt it'll ever go the whole way, short of the eL suddenly becoming extraordinarily popular, but it's in place.

If yee made Europe a few times there might be the incentive to expand the seating - a la Longford and City......

Looking at the pictures, it doesn't look like much of an improvement on Belfield but I'll wait to see it in person before criticising.

Taht's just bda speling tho, isn't it? Not the same thing at all. Anyway, if stadium is a Latin word, shouldn't the plural be "stadii"? Or if you're speaking English, you know, "stadiums"

Of course, you may disagree with the common usage but I don't think the foot.ie fora are the appropriate place for this discussion.

Which is why the football club paid for it to be done up?

The stand is far better. I can't understand how people fail to notice that.
