Changes in venues for two Under-19 qualifiers

There are changes to two of the venues for the European Under-19 Championship qualifiers later this month.


The Republic of Ireland's final game in the four-nation mini-qualifying tournament against Slovenia has been switched from Richmond Park to Tolka Park with a 7.30 p.m. kick-off.

On the same night, the Switzerland v England game will go ahead at O2 Park, Drogheda, instead of Home Farm's Ground at Whitehall, also with a 7.30 p.m. start.


Irish team manager Sean McCaffrey has announced that he will hold a Press Conference in relation to the qualifiers at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Dublin Airport, on Wednesday, May 14, at 6.00 p.m.


The full squad are due to report to him on that evening and he says that the players will be available to members of the media for interview at the Press Conference.
