It's all well and good looking back at the great players who donned the City shirt but our history is too often about moral victories, nearly's and maybe's. We have a good squad now and with a bit of luck the club can achieve the kind of success we need to take the club fully professional. By this time on Sunday we'll be standing (or sitting on the new seats) in Flancare Park at the start of a new season where we can hopefully witness the players that one day supporters will regard as the "City Greats".
Onwards and upwards!

Stirring words...
... and bang on the nail! This is gonna be an 'up' season after the disappointment of last time out. There's a scent of silverware about this team, and it ain't the Munster Secret Cup either! A positive start by all concerned with the City, on and off the pitch, and as Barry's Tea states it's onwards and upwards thereafter!!
Still, the ould nostalgic thing is good to keep us going till Sunday, n'est-ce pas?
