Have to say I smiled when i heard a blast of "were on the one road " from the back of the canal end at the Germany game. Said to myself things are looking up.

Seems to be making a comeback alright. It was getting a great run in Central Europe(see the Youtube video of the fans after the game in Prague) and as you say it got going at the Germany game more than once.
The only problem with it is that by the end of the chorus it doesnt have a natural comeback in to another chorus and most people dont know the verses so it dies nearly as soon as its taken off.
