I was just wonderin if anyone had problems connecting to xbox live when they started up, when I try to connect it says it's downloading some update and then it fails and I'm just brought back to the dashboard, anyone have the same problem or have any ideas of what to do?

Run the network test in settings and see if it fails on NAT if it does follow the help text to open ports on your router.
