The new away gear is on the front and back of todays Evening Echo.Looks fairly nice.Actually reminds me of Shamrock Rovers navy away gear from last season...

It's nice all right, I suppose, but why couldn't Red be the main colour?
Just change the navy for red and put a white stripe where the red is and that would have kept our colours, without having to get completely different set of colours....

its a nice jersey, but i don't think its a good choice. we surely should have held on to at least one red jersey. also, don't like the number of jersey changes in recent times.....

I agree with James..........too much like Rovers.

    Exclamation Drastic move

Yeah, Red to Navy is a drastic move alright and it is funny that is was made at all, it was great to see the green coming back but navy, as ca olour never woren before, making an appearance seems very very strange to me.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

there is a tiny tumnail of bennett heading over a rovers player, but its too difficult to see properly!

Not impressed by new navy jersey - looks too much like Pats away one from a few years ago.

    new jersey

    I think its ok.
A bit like the Rovers away gear all right but the navy shorts go better than white shorts.

Hope they have numbers you can read on the back, which is a problem with the Rovers gear.

There probably should be some red in it but, hey we had a black away gear before and most people liked it.

The point about a lot of gear changes is well made but every soccer club in england do it and nobody is forced to buy the gear if they don't want to.

Maybe the "new" Rovers-esque shirt was why we lost. Or maybe is the Inchicore curse...

It seems like a nice jersey to look at and I probably will buy it, as I do with all City jerseys, however I don't like it because navy is NOT a City colour, I would have much prefered to see another Red or a white jersey.

It's already proven itself to be an unlucky jersey anyway, thank god we only have to wear it twice a season.

Ya, its a grand jursy per say, but its not a City shirt... theres no connection with the club with it. Will prob get it in the sales or something, but wont rush out to get it. I would much prefer to see a red or white shirt, even another black one, but navy???
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
