    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Anyone played this just ordered it on play.com for €20 had read a few reviews on it but never knew anyone who actually played it. Is it any good?

If you like RPG's then its one of the better ones out now, it wasn't my cup of tea (i dont like magic spells etc) But ive played their follow up game fallout 3 which is a similar style just a different setting and with guns rather than swords and spells and thats one of the best games ive ever played. Im 42 hours of gameplay into it and still not finished (takes about 70 hours to finish)

Zavvi.com had the fallout 3 game of the year edition with all 6 downloadable contents included for around 24 euro. I cant recomend it highly enough.

Agree with Anto on Fallout. If you haven't got that you should make it your business to get hold of a copy easily one of the best entertainment value for money hours wise you'll get from a game. On the back of the enjoyment I got from Fallout was tempted to give Oblivion a shot, but like Anto the spells etc turned me off
I'd love to invent a time machine then go back in time and win the lottery, buy new players and a stadium. Time machines are brilliant aren't they- Ian Holloway

You don't need to know about Morrowind to to appreciate it at all. It stands on it's own as a great game. I clocked up over 100 hours on my savegame IIRC.

i played fallout 3 and loved it and so was recommended this game. i bought it and played it for quite a few hours and still didnt really understand what i was supposed to do.

its a very big game but i thought it lacked direction as i didnt know what to do next or where to go, but thats just my opinion !

Fallout 3 drove me insane and was very addictive. I ended up trading it in at game because I just kept getting lost.

I've just ordered Dragons age. Anybody play mass effect? New one out next month.
