    Glen Crowe

Well done to Glen Crowe on getting his 2nd cap for Ireland
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Still, in his one lay-off, he did more than David Connolly, Kevin Kilbane, Ian Harte and Robbie Keane combined!

By the way - who was number five today? Big fat b@st@rd - looked like Richie Dunne but could actually play a bit...

I'm not one of the Boez but I have to wonder why Crowe was only given such a short period of time to play

It's been pointed out Kerr wanted to win the game as it was at home but surely 15 mins of Crowe would'nt have ruined his dreams of victory. I support Kerr 110% but I'm a bit confused....

Thought Dunne played himself into contention for a regular spot. That being said, i dont think he has ever played a bad game for Ireland.

Connolly worked like a trojan tonight. But he will never get the credit he deserves.

    Nor will Kilbane.

Granted ian Harte aint up to it.

And Robbie Keane had a very good game.

My only concern is, why could we not have really put a bad team like Norway to the sword?

Norway, a bad side????? They have several Premiership Players you know!! Even if most of them were'nt playing English Football is so good that having Players associated with your squad makes you quality........So RTEngerland say

In fairness, Norway were under strength, but it was a friendly and those kind of games, were two countries have no mutual hatred or rivalry, usually pass off quietly in to the annals of time, forgotten, hence my curiousity of Crowe getting 5 Minutes.

A good result, winning that is, none the less.

I like Connolly, but he did nothing for the first half. Kerr must have given him a bit of a root at half-time, because he was much more involved in the second half.

Kilbane fell over trying to cross the ball umpteen times, and lost posession far too often as well. Robbie Keane had loads of tricks, but ultimately did nothing with them. He'll either have a brilliant game or he'll look brilliant without ever doing anything, and last night was the latter.

Sure, Kerr wanted to win the game, but making a few changes up front wouldn't have ruined his party. Besides Souness and Hoddle will be complaining that Duff and Keane played so long.
    Definitely Crowe should've played longer.
