    kilkenny

so its buckley park friday night, i think we can get a result. earlier this season they gave ramblers a good game up there, i think the pitch was very big which didnt suit ramblers. its a good surface though.

im going up , do ye think there will be a good crowd from cobh or what?

Would be great if a big crowd from Cobh showed up. A win of any kind will do. I think we will have too much for them and come home with 3 points.

should be a win, 1-0 8-0 doesnt matter ill take anything, time of the season where performances are gone and results matter more, keep the ball down and be patient, we know we can win, as long as the lads stay calm pass the ball around, and the goal or goals will come,
whos out for us this week is it just barrett or what does anyone know,
im not going anyway ive work

Barrett, kearney back and davin back me thinks, serious question, will they get in?

Think Davin could replace Reilly, alright but Mucky and Dub had great games i thought in centre.

If it was moi, which it will be in 30 years, after hendo, , id rest Gareth he looks tired recently and Mikeys picking up form so id keep him in, Go wit Mike on right, Dub and Kearney in middle(pure merit for Dub) And Mucky on left, Davin for Reilly, and we win 5 nil. .

But as they say on soccer am CHANGE IS NOT GOOD. So maybe will be same startin 11, good to have this problem again, we were strugglin for squad since limerick and harps.

If kearney and dub do start, tell me, who'll hold midfield? that combination will never work!
I'm going down alright. 3 or 4 in the car.

Why do you always feel the need to take a pop at carey. Who won us the match the weekend?? He has bout 6 or 7 goals, not bad at all. I think he's a great player and a credeit to the club.

Totally agree. Carey gets a lot of unjustified stick from some people. He's as good a right back as I've seen in a long time and wears the captains armband with pride.

If he hadn"t scored the other night it would have been a below par performance and if you cant see that theres something wrong,he has always been a first div right back and with our current squad he just does not fit in too many errors and bad delivery 80% of the time. Also gutsy or murrey by far the better option for the captaincy should we go up also barrett been local and has had and kept the honour in the past, against wexford and kildare when we needed a leader he was no where.

In your opinion he was below par, that's not to say he was. In my opinion he's doing the job but as I say that's my opinion. Bellavistaman is of the same opinion as me, that doesn't mean we're right it's just our opinions. It also doesn't mean there's something wrong.

I think hes actually one of the best players on the team, the other players know hes class, and away from home hes always meant to be class, He plays bad when muppets like some1, start shouting at him for no reason, so called supporters, knocks his confidence. How could guthrie get it, its his 1st season, Murray fair enough, but still young. Barrett discipline could get in the way but is definitly captain material as is mucky and kearney

Think carey is doing ok at right back..would love to see him get forward a bit more and whip in some balls.he can deliver great inswinging crosses..
Think the captaincy is a bit mich for him TBH..dont think you could look further than Kevin Murray as a replacement (not that im looking for one)..His determination and committment would make him an ideal captain in the future.(if we can hold on to him)

why is this even up for debate lads carey is doing a bang up job at right back, hes a right back, not right midfield, hes is a brilliant captain and all the players seem to respect him, no reason for bashing here, hes not suppose to get forward all the time, sure why would he have to with the likes of davin and cambridge on the wings, just drop this stupid debate, totally unfair,

Been watchin de rams i dont support any other club home or abroad, ive seen him in ballybofey, limerick and the last two home games and he is dropping hopefully i can be proved wrong.Bellavistaman u never fault anything at the club if we go up you do realise we will be thaught harsh lessons in a league with 6 professional clubs and then the likes of longford and co i have seen us up at harps and we could not live with them how we escaped with one conceded is beyond me,this squad will need serious injections of cash and a few more additions the youth system is producing but not a lot of cobh talent when theres an abundance of it up to the under 18s,the club needs fine tuning to progress im open to a bashing here but its reality no need to all agree how brill we playing etc its a forum have an opinion.

shouldn't be a bad crowd from cobh going maybe 30-40 wouldn't be 2 bad i'm going up with 3 others ...carey has been playing great consistent football over the season and is a great captain what more could you want from a captain;he scores goals ,makes plays and organizes the back 4...hes just a top class player/captain....(i dont think davins fit for kilkenny..)

wow two games he is one of the players of the season for me, he is a very good player that contributes a lot to the squad, if he was missing it would be felt in the team, he is well deserving of the armband he wears week in week out,
