Disappointing loss today (to Coláiste Íde, I think) - pointless match though - just to finish the group - both teams go through.

win for ucd on penos after 0-0 in extra time. 2 goals disallowed (at least one , if not both, was a harsh decision) and open goal header. Throw in a sending off in extra time and it sounds an exciting game. It was a good game but the quality of football was unfortunately low, which is a bit disappointing given the high standards the team have set themselves ove rthe last year. But another win is a nother win and after the pain of losing on penos in the collingwood, winning a final on penos here is a good comeback - second penos win in a row in a final too after the u21s final last year!

    Well done lads.

Is David McMillan anything to Evan?

What's this about a "scoreless 110 minutes" being followed by a penalty shootout? Did they really play only twenty minutes of extra time?
