    Finn Harps Preview

Tomorrow, Sunday, Monaghan United FC take on League title contenders Finn Harps at Kingspan Century Park. This is the start of a hectic week for United which sees them play Harps on Sunday and Dundalk on Thursday. Mick will be hoping that his side can turn the tide of recent weeks bad results.

The last time Harps came to KCP they went away with a 2-0 victory. This had followed on from their opening meeting of the season when United held Harps to a 0-0 draw in Ballybofey, but when United returned to the ‘fey in July they were well beaten (3-0).

Manager Mick Cooke said “I am really looking forward to this game. It is a big week for us this week playing league leaders Finn Harps Sunday and Dundalk on Thursday.”

"Last week’s defeat to Kilkenny and their draw with Shelbourne last night show that any team is capable of beating anyone else and we have gone close with Harps before so anything can happen.” He concluded.

The game kicks off at 3pm at the Clones Road venue.

    LIST OF INJURIES AND SUSPENSIONS:

    Injuries:

    Alvin Rouse (doubtful)
    Kevin Williamson (doubtful)

    Suspended:

    Barry Burke
    Aaron Mooney
    Stephen Finnegan
