Kevin Hunt for me, great player and he seems a nice guy. Remember in Dalymount this season, he came over to me and said fair play to ye's, yer making plenty of noise keep it up.

For GUFC, it would be Reggi Nootimeer. Pure gent and a class player. Always has time for the fans.

I didnt wander into the dressing rooms but did walk in on the pre-match team talk on St Patrick's day in Kildare, pints of guinness before the game were a good idea I think or your lot would have beaten us that day.

Conor Gethins of Harps although when I said this to a home fan he did mention that he should score more often than he does.

One former player is ex Shels keeper Fred Davis always had a laugh at Rathbane and didn't take himsefl too seriously.

A real talent, ask any Galway fan, but as said he could score more. He scored 2 yesterday, hit the bar and in the end up could have had about 5 to himself.

Monaghan centre half, Luke Fitpatrick would be welcome up to Finn Park any day. Very quick and good in the air. Mons will do well to keep hold of him, rumours of Pats and Dundalk being interested in him.

No idea. Don't think he's cut out for the top level (on his limited appearances here). As honest and hard working as anyone though. He's played most of his time at winger for us!

As a person it has to be Digger - no contest there. As a player I've always thought Stuey Byrne is class (even allowing for his move to the Drogs and his live television rant after winning the league last season

My votes got to
Philly Gorman - always seems to score against us (but then I previously had Willie Doyle on this list when he was at UCD and then we got the 2-stone overweight current model).
Kevin Hunt - have enjoyed watching him in Dalyer for years
Keith Fahey - one of those players you pay your money to see
Tom Mohan was one player we should have signed when we had the chance (I heard), well known in Monaghan and a gentleman
