    Alan Gallan?
He looks good from what I've seen, but let him prove himself at least!
Georgie has to be in there!

He's a strange one actually, reminds me a bit of Andy Myler.

He's fairly lazy (not one to defend from the front, chase down defenders etc.) but he's strong and can pass fairly well. Unfortunately he hasn't got a lot of pace, his movement off the ball is very poor (watching John O'Flynn against us was a real eye-opener as O'Flynn was always doing something, making a run or whatever whereas Gallen looks fairly easy to mark. No darting runs or anything of the like) and I'm not too sure about his finishing either. Then again he doesn't get a lot of chances due to his inability to make space.

In fairness to him the service hasn't been great this season and with a creative midfield behind him he could probably make double figures. Could, with a bit of work, become a good hold up man for a quick forward.

Also he's had time to prove himself. His record is about 15 starts and 2 goals, perhaps he'll come on in time though.

    He's certainly an excellent 'keeper.

If he stays in Ireland then he'll probably be one of the best 'keepers in the league over the next 10 years.

    Crowe
    Hunt
    O'Flynn
    Callaghan
    Osam
    Coyle
    Ryan
Brian Byrne [agree with xlex on him]

Numbers 3-10 based on who I fear might hurt us most when we play them, which I suppose is biased against goalies and defenders.

    Thumbs up Best 10..

Here goes.no doubt i will think of another 10 straight after type these lads. Not in order of who i think is better but here goes..

    1.John O Flynn
    2.George O Callaghan
    3.Glen Crowe
    4.Robbie Doyle
    5.Alan Reynolds
    6.Jason Byrne
    7.Kevin Hunt
    8.Simon Webb
    9.Dan Murray
    10.Brian Byrne

There is no doubt that there are a lot of other players as good and also beeter than this bunch but people go by the impression a visiting player makes on them when teams visit there ground and even though i picked 3 City players and one ex City i dont think there are many better in any of these positions in the league.I have yet to see a better entertainer than O Callaghan and i do rate John O Flynn more than Crowe.I have see Robbie Doyle a few times and he looks very good on each occasion.Anyway thats my 10 for now...

    Biased..me?..never!

I know you have a point there Liam but as i say i am going on what i have seen in the last couple of seasons.I have no doubt that Waterford have some very good players but the majority of fans have not seen them yet since you were 1st division last season. Its important that Munster has as many teams a s possible in the league and its great to see Utd doing well this year just as long as you lose next week at the Cross.I reckon 3-1 to the City....

He, It was just a joke....i agree wholeheartedly with you RedX, none of our players would even make it near the top 20 even, with perhaps the exceptions of Dan Connor (from what i've seen of him so far) and maybe Dave Breen. It is great to be back, and to bring a broader geographical dimension to the league.....now all we need is UCD and Drogs to go down and Finn Harps and Galway to come back up.

An i reckon you will be too strong for us at the Cross, but we'll take you at the R.S.C!!...........we need a new rivalry seeing as Kilkenny have gone off the radar
