You can only play 5 ex LOI players in the FAI Junior Cup. Chris should be OK as he is U-21. So be careful. Celtic were hounded in 2006 under this rule, which we did not break
well they've already broken it so...........
But after 2 and half years they are all re grades back to juinor level.So we are safe enough Check out rule 33 in the Fai rule book.

It the rules of the FAI Junior Cup you should be looking at. Its not the lenght of time. Gavin Dykes was considered a LOI player after 5 years out of LOI. So you should read the FAI Junior hand book. Might have changed but I would check it out.
the 20 to 1 seems very poor odds considering abbey gave a bye to killarney in the next round in order to avoid travelling expenses

was watterlogged last weekend, an underage game was called off. havn't been down i'll try and find out what its like at training tomorrow, maybe giggsy will know! we dont train at the pitch on thursdays so i wont be down until sunday morning!

red metal will prob confirm this but the main reason for them not travelling was the timing of the game just before xmas. Most players will be working and if you look at 2 for example, lee marshall & stevie coen,wrk in the same shop so they both hardly going to get one of the busiest shopping days off. It was justr bad luck such a long journey was drawn for them.pity too, i think they could have g0ne far in that comp!
