Anyone been here ?

Due to a mess-up on my last long distance flight BA have given me 1 cheap return ticket (I only pay taxes) that I can use to December.

I've got 12.5 days holiday left at work and was thinking of going to Indonesia, anyone been ?? Is it a good place to visit or is Thailand / Vietnam etc better.

Was there in 93.

Jakarta is a fcuking dump but the beaches are lovely. Extreme poverty.

Bali is only an hour from Jakarta. Beautiful island but Kuta Beach is like the Australian Magaluf.

Stick to Thailand or Vietnam. Never been to Nam but would love to go.
