    My Phone Bill!

Had a promotion for the league on the envelope.

Be better if there was a colour leaflet inside and a some fixture listings, club details etc, but I am shocked at this!

And I am not sure how to take it. Good I guess?

Cant do it any harm anyway.
I said to the missus about the advertising on the envelope and she claimed not to have noticed.

Terrible advertising move. Its been proven throughout the last few decades that if you associate a company logo with something negative people will eventually associate feeling negative with said company. So when the EL conjures up images of over-priced phone bills in peoples minds they will not want anything to do with it. Who's bright idea at the FAI was this I wonder? And have the people in charge of advertising the FAI little or no knowledge of advertising history?

Presuming it was an Eircom bill, it was probably a cheap way of advertising the League. Cant see it causing any harm (or good for that matter!)
