    McHale sees sense

A great nite, superb atmosphere and the perfect result but analyse the performance and we will win nothing with this side.

John McHale's article in D'Echo makes a lot of sense.

Bobby Ryan roasted us down our left flank and once again Billy does not want to defend and Gaz was skinned playing out of position.

Greg gave it everything but needs someone in the middle with more than O'Grady can provide.

Rutherford caused mayhem down the right side and the switching of full backs and the introduction of Alan Carey was key.

O'Flynn and O'Callaghan were superb, real touch of class despite some poor service and Dan Murray was just sublime.

Great to have a nite like that but new players are still needed in important areas and Bohs will be there or there abouts.

    C'mon City.
I've seen enough to know I've seen too much.

I feel McHale had a few valid points, and made some sense. I wouldn't agree with him about Doyle though.
I think it is time that Dave Warren got a run. He surely deserves a chance.
I'd be a bit worried about Conor as well. He is not really showing much form and I thought he was as poor as Billy last night.

    Post More obvious !!

that is more and more obvious as we go on, and Dolan knows it too, just have to scout around.

We haven't had any injuries yet and Napier is still due to come back.

I think the biggest hole that we have is midfield, Greg is like a harrier but Woods aint doin' it and O'Grady ain't back on form yet. This needs to be sorted and when it is, it should allow everyone to play their game properly and not have to cover other areas.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
