Pat Dolan - a living legend

Pat Dolan walks in to PJ Turner's last night. All the lads down the back start singing "Dolan, give us a wave". Pat waves back. A few seconds later someone starts singing "Dolan, buy us a pint, Dolan Dolan buy us a pint". Everyone joins in and Pat laughs and waves.

5 minutes later the barman comes down to the lads with a pint with ten straws in it.

"That's from your manager" says the barman.

In that one moment Dolan was upgraded from hero to legend status.

    Pat Dolan, we salute you.
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

Well in all fairness it wouldn't cost much to buy ALL of UCD's fans a pint!

Hey if I'd known that was all that was too it I coulda spared myself a lot of heart-rending wondering and 'Will she or won't she?' style deliberation. Rest assured however that now that I know I'll make full use of that little nugget of info!

I'm sure you'd get enough change from a fiver to buy them all a bag of chips as well!
