Remember seeing john o flynn score a lethal dink against longford possibly not sure though, but it was top class.
There have been many goals scored by city players that have had a huge impact on the club, either a turning point in a game or a last minute winner, a goal to gain a vital three points or to let us progress onto the next round in Europe.
What in your opinion was the best City goal ever?
Who scored it? What game was it in? What was its significance regards league position etc.? Was there any background to the goal regarding the scorer (just back from injury etc.)
Quality over quantity, keep the standard high

That youtube video of all the 2005 goals would come in handy now but i can't find it.
Are you looking for the best goal or an important memory thing? Derek Coughlans cup-winner will live long in the memory for me anyway.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.
O'Bama - "Eerah yeah, I'd say we can alright!"
G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!

I'd go for that one as my favourite goal as well, as I remember it (though I think I might have embellished as time's gone on) he was being sheperded away from goal along the edge of the area towards the corner flag when he produced a superb finish when there didn't seem to be any chance.
A man can have no greater love than give 90 minutes for his friends.
A good half-dozen goals on the break finished by JOF that started with Fenn picking the ball up outside our area from an opposition corner.

League cup Final, beautiful sweeping move, several passes ending with Hartigan burying it in front of a heaving shed....classic!
