Brian Kerr may not have been the best international manager we ever had but the question remains, how responsible can a manager/coach be if players chicken out once they cross the white line. Cause that is what happens in a spineless performance on the field. In the case of the two matches alluded to in an earlier post more than 3 players failed to perform. I mention more than 3 because only 3 substitutions are permitted at present in International football at present. So if there are more than 3 sh1t performers which of the 6 or so do you remove? Also I doubt Ireland would have lost by THREE goals against Cyprus under Kerr, they might well have lost , but not by THREE.

We wouldn't haven't lost to Cyprus managed by most people on this forum.

Kerr managed a shocking performance in Cyprus too. We won 1-0. It's all relative. Kerr's performances were totally different when Delaney took over (after Faroes home before Israel away).

The saddest thing about stan being in charge is that he has inherited a much more promising squad than kerr. look at all the strikers we have playing top flight and championship footie. kerr had to rely on morrisson and the nose mostly.
